Our facility celebrates the extraordinary legacy of synthesizer pioneer Robert Moog, whose invention of the Moog synthesizer in 1964 helped revolutionize the face of music. Advance tickets are available to guests planning a visit to the Moogseum.
We do not charge any additional fees or surcharges for online tickets. Online ticket sales close two hours prior to the selected arrival time to avoid over crowding, last minute tickets may be available at the door but not listed online.
All visitors, regardless of age, require a ticket. Admission is $11.75 per person. Children 7 and under are complimentary.
TICKET FAQ’S
Do I need advance tickets to the Moogseum?
To ensure your admission to the Moogseum we strongly recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time. The Moogseum is currently operating at a reduced capacity by North Carolina state mandate. Same-day tickets will be available for purchase on-site each day, on a space-available and subject to capacity restrictions, first-come, first-served basis.
All ticket sales are final.
Are tickets timed?
Yes. All tickets are timed in order to ensure we stay within our building capacity limits. Tickets grant admission to the Moogseum for one hour. Most guests spend between 30-45 minutes on their self guided tour of the Moogseum.
You may arrive a few minutes before the time on your ticket, as your ticket reflects your entry time into the museum. Our gift store is open and you are welcome to browse while waiting for your entrance time or after your tour.
What if I miss my time slot?
Reservations are held for 15 minutes after your reserved entry time.
If you arrive later than 15 minutes for your ticket time and we are at capacity, you will be asked to wait in the standby line or offered any open times later on the same day to transfer your admission times. Entry will be permitted as space allows.
Will tickets be available for purchase in person?
Same-day walk-up tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis limited to the capacity availability upon arrival. If space is currently unavailable, you may purchase tickets for the next available timed entry in the gift store.
Are children required to have tickets to enter?
Yes. Everyone must have a ticket to enter.
Children 7 years of age and under are complimentary but must have a ticket to enter. Be sure to include the complimentary ticket(s) for children in your reservation.
Can I change my ticket time after my reservation is made?
Tickets are non-refundable but can be exchanged once with no fees, up to 72 hours prior to the date, by emailing info@moogseum.org with your name and new requested date. Exchange is based on availability and may take up to 72 hours.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Tickets are transferable, they will be under the original name used to purchase the tickets.
